Global Game Jam UCI 2020

This game jam was my first major use of a Yamaha DX7 VST called Dexed. Was really awesome to use and it definitely made some of the tracks sound a lot better. The first 40 seconds of the first track weren't great because of the derpy sounding bass, but it's definitely redeemed by the pitch modulated airy bell melody from the remaining minute. I end up referencing that pretty heavily in the fourth level track because of how incredible it sounds. Second level was definitely my favorite track: I started by referencing a song called Earthlings by Haken I think, one of my least favorite songs by them, and it created this really awesome mood that worked well with the rest of the song. There's some nerd stuff going on there I'm not going to get into. Third track was sort of a joke but my group members liked it the most, huge meme there. Fourth track was sort of a coming together for all of the different tracks, like the level it was designed for. Turned out all right for a mashup of some very different sounding tracks. Got some bonus stuff here too.
